Haunted School<\/strong><\/p>\n

Friday, October 28th at 6:30. \u00a0There will be “scary rooms” and “mild rooms” to trick-or-treat through. \u00a0There will be food, dancing and crafts.<\/p>\n

Calendar<\/strong><\/p>\n

November 4th – 1\/2 day of school, 11:45 dismissal<\/p>\n

November 8th – No School, Election Day<\/p>\n

November 16th – Late Start, School will begin at 9:35 a.m.<\/p>\n

November 23rd – No School<\/p>\n

What We Did This Week<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our AlphaFriend this week was Benny Bear, letter B<\/p>\n

We worked in our Poem Books<\/p>\n

We wrote in our journals<\/p>\n

We read Robert Munch stories (the students seemed to enjoy the humor in his stories)<\/p>\n

We practiced our independent reading stamina with Read to Self. \u00a0Next week we will rotate through “Read to Self”, “Work on Writing”, “Listening to Reading” and “Letter Work.”<\/p>\n

In math we continued to practice writing our numerals, sorting, and identifying numbers 1-10<\/p>\n

We attended a choir assembly and heard our highschool students perform<\/p>\n

We worked in our handwriting workbooks<\/p>\n

We went to gym, art, music and media class<\/p>\n

Please remember to return library books on Monday so that your student can check out a new one.<\/p>\n
