Today in class, our bellwork assignment was to create a T-chart and write down 5 things you like about social studies and 5 things you don’t like about it. \u00a0Then they were to write a short paragraph below the chart beginning with this sentence: “Social Studies will be different this year because…”<\/p>\n
We then took a pre-assessment, concerning things they should have learned in 6th grade, and some things they will learn in 7th grade. \u00a0It was not graded.<\/p>\n
Students then did an activity drawing the world map, on a blank sheet of paper, completely from their memory. \u00a0This will be saved and given back at the end of the year.<\/p>\n
Tomorrow they are with advisory all day . \u00a0If you are my advisory student, please bring something to color with tomorrow.<\/p>\n
