Yesterday we finished with Christianity and started with Islam.<\/p>\n

Today we finished Islam. \u00a0Here are the powerpoints to go along with each religion:<\/p>\n

Friday<\/strong> we will have our assessment on the 5 major world religions!!<\/p>\n

The test will consist of about 20 multiple choice questions, and then a short, 3 paragraph compare\/contrast essay. \u00a0Students will compare and contrast 2 religions of their choice.<\/p>\n

Tomorrow we will work on the essays in class to help prepare them for the assessment.
\nAlso, this will be a closed note assessment with no study guide. \u00a0Students need to study their chart of each religion as well as the notes they copied down from class. \u00a0It WILL NOT be easy! \u00a0They need to study!!<\/p>\n

Extra Credit Option:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Here are two more chapters that students can do for extra credit. \u00a0They need to read these chapters and just fill in the corresponding reading notes (they do not need to do the preview and processing). \u00a0These are for chapters 36 and 37, about Christianity<\/p>\n

ALL EXTRA CREDIT WILL BE DUE ON FRIDAY!!<\/p>\n

Unfortunately there are no chapters in the textbook on Islam. \u00a0The company who makes the textbook does have 2 chapters devoted to Islam, however it is only found on their online subscription, which we don’t have.<\/p>\n
