{"id":332,"date":"2014-11-19T15:41:39","date_gmt":"2014-11-19T20:41:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/rpiche\/?p=332"},"modified":"2014-11-19T15:41:39","modified_gmt":"2014-11-19T20:41:39","slug":"nov-19th-2014","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/rpiche\/2014\/11\/19\/nov-19th-2014\/","title":{"rendered":"Nov. 19th, 2014"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today students took the chapter 5 assessment.<\/p>\n<p>We will move on to chapter 6 &#8220;Exploring 4 Empires of Mesopotamia.&#8221; \u00a0This is a really interesting chapter that discusses the four large empires who took over Mesopotamia at different times for thousands of years. \u00a0Empires like the Akkadians, Babylonians, and Assyrians. \u00a0They even discuss the Code of Hammurabi, one of the first ever known written sets of laws.<\/p>\n<p>Students are to do the vocab in their notes and also make their own illustrated dictionary. \u00a0The illustrated dictionary only needs the blue terms in the chapter. \u00a0That will be due on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow we will begin chapter 6<\/p>\n<p>Thank you<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today students took the chapter 5 assessment.
