Today in class we discussed the ‘Reading further’ section in our books from pages 40-43. \u00a0It’s about the excavation of the ancient city of Ur in Sumer. \u00a0Students had to analyze artifacts and base conclusions about societies from the evidence of the artifacts given.<\/p>\n
Homework will be the LAST PAGE on the reading notes. \u00a0They need to list 5 things in their bedroom as a personal artifact. \u00a0Then, they need to write a paragraph stating a conclusion that\u00a0an archaeologist in the future would say about them, based only on those artifacts listed. \u00a0The directions are listed on the sheet. \u00a0Again, its the last page of the reading notes, page 8 (we did page 7 in class today). \u00a0It only needs to be one paragraph. \u00a0I changed the rubric score to 15, 10, and 5.<\/p>\n
