{"id":261,"date":"2014-10-16T15:12:54","date_gmt":"2014-10-16T19:12:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/rpiche\/?p=261"},"modified":"2014-10-16T15:12:54","modified_gmt":"2014-10-16T19:12:54","slug":"oct-16th-2014","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/rpiche\/2014\/10\/16\/oct-16th-2014\/","title":{"rendered":"Oct. 16th, 2014"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today in class students finished reading sections 4-7 and completed their reading notes for sections 4-7. \u00a0These reading notes are for the students benefit when we take our assessment because they may USE these notes on the assessment! \u00a0Make sure they have them completed.<\/p>\n<p>Chapter 3 reading notes:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/rpiche\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1012\/2014\/10\/chapter-3-reading-notes.pdf\">chapter 3 reading notes<\/a><\/p>\n<p>On the last page of the notes, at the bottom, you will see something called &#8216;processing.&#8217; \u00a0This will be a writing assignment students will need to do that will be due on Monday. \u00a0However, the processing calls for one paragraph, I want the students to write 3 paragraphs. \u00a0They need to compare and contrast humans in the Paleolithic and Neolithic times from 3 ways: 1) obtaining food supply, 2) how they lived, and 3) skills they developed (jobs\/trade).<br \/>\nThis is not a 5 paragraph essay, they don&#8217;t need an introduction or conclusion. \u00a0It&#8217;s just a simple writing assignment. \u00a0Here is what I want for each paragraph:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/rpiche\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1012\/2014\/10\/Writing-Assignment-processing.docx\">Writing Assignment-processing<\/a><\/p>\n<p>We watched another video at the end of class. \u00a0I didn&#8217;t finish it with any class, so they can finish watching it at home. \u00a0Here is the video:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"From Hunter-Gatherer to Farmer (Part 1)\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/CJLHewx6PHQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Also, make sure to bring colored pencils and\/or markers to class tomorrow!<\/p>\n<p>Thank you<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today in class students finished reading sections 4-7 and completed their reading notes for sections 4-7. \u00a0These reading notes are for the students benefit when we take our assessment because they may USE these notes on the assessment! \u00a0Make sure they have them completed.
