Today was ‘Constitution Day.’ \u00a0In class we went over what was the constitution and what rights does it provide the people of the US.<\/p>\n
After having a discussion and watching the video on the Constitution, I put the students into 10 groups (one for each amendment of the Bill of Rights). \u00a0They were to create a poster that would have 1) a Title, 2) the original text, 3) kid-friendly text, and 4) a picture.
\nEach group was to create their poster about their designated amendment.<\/p>\n
Tomorrow we will continue with the 5 themes of geography and students will be given a project to work on.<\/p>\n
I plan to have our first test on everything we have covered either next Monday or Tuesday. \u00a0Students will be provided a study guide beforehand.<\/p>\n
