{"id":1437,"date":"2017-10-25T15:22:39","date_gmt":"2017-10-25T19:22:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/rpiche\/?p=1437"},"modified":"2017-10-25T15:22:39","modified_gmt":"2017-10-25T19:22:39","slug":"oct-25th-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/rpiche\/2017\/10\/25\/oct-25th-2017\/","title":{"rendered":"Oct. 25th, 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday in class students took the chapter 3 vocab quiz.\u00a0 This was worth 10 summative points.\u00a0 I also collected their foldable and checked their reading notes and bellwork.\u00a0 Besides the quiz, all grades have been entered into their grade book so far.<\/p>\n<p>Today we watched an episode of the Flintstones and discussed how it is accurate and inaccurate to the Neolithic Age (they are supposed to be the &#8216;modern stone age&#8217; family, which is the Neolithic Age).<\/p>\n<p>I have given students their chapter 3 assessment rubric.\u00a0 They have 2 options; 1. write a 3 paragraph essay, and 2. create a comic book story page.\u00a0 They are to describe the changes that took place between the Paleolithic Age and the Neolithic Age and discuss why that&#8217;s important.\u00a0 Here is the rubric:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/rpiche\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1012\/2017\/10\/chapter-3-CER-summative-assessment-options.docx\">chapter 3 CER summative assessment options<\/a><\/p>\n<p>They will have time to work on this tomorrow in class.\u00a0 This is due FRIDAY!<\/p>\n<p>Thank you<\/p>\n<p><strong>HOMEWORK<br \/>\n<\/strong>Summative Assessment- due Friday<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday in class students took the chapter 3 vocab quiz.\u00a0 This was worth 10 summative points.\u00a0 I also collected their foldable and checked their reading notes and bellwork.\u00a0 Besides the quiz, all grades have been entered into their grade book so far.
