Today in class we talked about the Code of Hammurabi. \u00a0We read about the history of it, what it was, who created it, and other important information and then students read some of the actual laws from the Code of Hammurabi. \u00a0These laws are seen as very cruel and barbaric by todays standards.<\/p>\n
Students will create a poster (summative grade, 30 points) about the Code of Hammurabi. \u00a0They need to write 1. Summary about the code, 2. Summary of their feelings on the code, 3. list of 10 laws as if they were school principal (keep punishments school friendly), and 4. a picture representing their list of 10 laws with explanation.<\/p>\n
