Today we continued with chapter 5: Ancient Sumer. \u00a0We talked about the 7 characteristics of a civilization and we will be figuring out was the area of ancient Sumer a civilization. \u00a0Students will be using actual artifacts from Sumer to determine the evidence of those 7 characteristics. \u00a0 Over the next 2 days they will be working with their partners to complete the rest of the chapter reading and notes. \u00a0Today we have read sections 1-3, and completed sections 2-3 in the notes.<\/p>\n
