{"id":1032,"date":"2016-10-07T15:28:34","date_gmt":"2016-10-07T19:28:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/rpiche\/?p=1032"},"modified":"2016-10-07T15:28:34","modified_gmt":"2016-10-07T19:28:34","slug":"oct-7th-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/rpiche\/2016\/10\/07\/oct-7th-2016\/","title":{"rendered":"Oct. 7th, 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today we finished up section 6 and completed the reading notes for chapter 2.<\/p>\n<p>Monday I will check the reading notes. \u00a0Anything they missed they are responsible for completing the notes\u00a0on their own.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/rpiche\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1012\/2016\/10\/ch-2-hominid-notes.doc\">ch-2-hominid-notes<\/a><\/p>\n<p>I have also handed out their summative assignment for this chapter. \u00a0They will create a Hominid Comic Book cover page. \u00a0They will choose their favorite hominid group and create a comic book looking cover page (like Superman, Batman, Flash, etc&#8230;) including all of their capabilities of that hominid. \u00a0We will work on this in class on Monday, and it will be due on Tuesday. \u00a0Here is the rubric for the assignment<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/rpiche\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1012\/2016\/10\/Hominid-Comic-Book-Poster-Project.docx\">hominid-comic-book-poster-project<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This needs to be done on a loose leaf sheet of paper or computer paper. \u00a0NOT A POSTER!! \u00a0If it&#8217;s on a poster then they lose points. \u00a0Also if they don&#8217;t have the rubric they lose points.<\/p>\n<p>HOMEWORK<br \/>\nGet started on the comic book cover. \u00a0Don&#8217;t need to finish it (Monday we will work on it in class)<\/p>\n<p>Chapter 2 reading notes completed<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today we finished up section 6 and completed the reading notes for chapter 2.
