My goodness we have already reached the end of April! I can not believe it. I am so proud of all our progress in Kdg and First grade this year! I am seeing my students just “take off” independently and academically and I am the most proud teacher. I also wanted to express my sincere gratitude to my students that nominated me for the “Teacher of the Year”. What an extreme honor it was to sit among all those fine teachers in Dearborn Public Schools last evening! My heart is so full of joy each day I get to teach your children at DuVall, and I thank you for helping me make this year so wonderful in my new home. I have truly made the right choice moving the this wonderful school and each day I count my blessings (there are 23).<\/p>\n

Thinking back on the last month, I’d like to thank all of the wonderful moms that helped chaperone the zoo field trip! we had a wonderful time and thank you for braving the zoo in the cold! Hopefully we have turned a corner now and we will just have warmer days until June!\u00a0As we head into next week, here is what you need to know. If there is any new information I will send it out immediately! Have a wonderful weekend I hope it is warm and DRY!\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
