I think that most of us have heard\/read\/seen about Governor Whitmer\u2019s order to stay at home to stop the spread of COVID-19. Please, if you are not already, stay at home. Only go out if necessary. We WILL stop the spread only if we ALL comply with Whitmer\u2019s order. She mentioned that the virus (just like many viruses) grows exponentially, and we learned how quickly exponential growth can get to be incredibly large. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
(Meaning, if person number one has coronavirus and they give it to 2 people, those two people give it to two more people and so on…<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n So, 2 to the power of 2 (squared, right?), then 2 to the power of 3 (cubed, right?), then 2 to the power of 4, then 2 to the power of 5, then 2 to the power of 6, then 2 to the power of 7, then 2 to the power of 8, then 2 to the power of 9, then 2 to the power of 10…. and it just keeps growing!)<\/strong>-Good thing we just covered this!<\/p>\n\n\n\n I like her quote: \u201ctough times don\u2019t last, tough people do\u201d.
