We worked on the end of Lesson 9 in the Instruction Book. The Practice and PROBLEM SOLVING WAS PASSED GIVEN TO THE STUDENTS,in addition IXL – 6th Grade tab G.1 and G.2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Work on the packet and IXL this weekend, we will have a little time on Monday. We will go over the packet the second half of class. Quiz is planned for Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Battle of the Socks”<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I must say that this is the biggest “battle I have ever had”!<\/strong> I am proud of the students and their families who are giving from their heart. The students are really thinking about others \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some comments that students have said to me:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

“helping others makes me feel good. “<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

“I know that it will make someone happy to get new socks.”<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

“I have a lot of stuff… some people don’t even have socks. Than makes me sad.”<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are the results so far:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1st place- 4\/5 with 226 pairs of socks<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2nd place- 7\/8 with 167 pairs of socks <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3rd place-29 pairs of socks<\/p>\n\n\n\n
