{"id":4324,"date":"2019-12-06T14:08:14","date_gmt":"2019-12-06T19:08:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/robinsk\/?p=4324"},"modified":"2019-12-06T14:08:17","modified_gmt":"2019-12-06T19:08:17","slug":"safety-alert","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/robinsk\/2019\/12\/06\/safety-alert\/","title":{"rendered":"Safety Alert"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Lindbergh Community<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To ensure student safety and maintain communication, I am sharing the following information to inform and not to alarm you regarding an incident experienced by one of our students.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During dismissal, one of our students was walking home on North Waverly when a white Explorer with tinted windows started following him, it honked its horn at him and appeared to drive and stop as the student continued to walk.&nbsp; It wasn\u2019t until the student got to his car that the other car left.&nbsp; The student did the right thing and stayed away from the car.&nbsp; This incident has been reported to the proper channels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please make sure to review stranger danger with your child.&nbsp; Below are a few tips if needed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>If students walk or ride bikes to school, it is best to do so in groups<\/li><li>Be alert of your surroundings<\/li><li>Identify safe houses and adults in the neighborhood<\/li><li>Report any suspicious activities to an adult<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We appreciate your help as we work together to keep all of our students safe.Zainah&nbsp;TibaPrincipalCharles A.
