Happy March is Reading Month!<\/p>\n

This past week we sent home our school reading month calendar. In order to encourage students to participate in this amazing month, we are offering a reading prize! The class that completes different components of the reading calendar can win a Lego basket for our classroom! Please encourage your child to complete the day’s activity if you can. Monday will be wear red, white, and blue in honor of Dr. Seuss’ birthday!\u00a0 If you need an extra copy of the reading calendar please see below:<\/p>\n

March Is Reading Month Calendar<\/a><\/p>\n

In addition to all the other fun events (see calendar), Dearborn Masonic Lodge #172, is again donating two bikes to be raffled off (girl\/boy).\u00a0 We are trying to make this simple.\u00a0 Each class will get two Ziploc bags (one for the girls\/one for the boys) and a set of raffle tickets.\u00a0 Each week (for 4 weeks) if the child meets his\/her required home\u00a0reading<\/span>\u00a0minutes (Please use the weekly reading log and have your child read 20 min per night), he\/she will get a ticket to be put into the raffle.\u00a0 \u00a0 The student will write his\/her name, and the teacher\u2019s name on the ticket and drop it into the Ziploc bag\u00a0 At the end of the\u00a0month<\/span>\u00a0we will\u00a0all\u00a0put the tickets into a drawing.<\/div>\n
