Students will conduct a series of activities and experiments to explore how engineers address travel and development-related problems caused by large bodies of water.&nbsp;<strong>Students will take a quiz on the Water Cycle &amp; States of Matter on Friday, November 8th<\/strong>.<br><strong><em>Homework<\/em><\/strong><em>&nbsp;\u2013<br><strong>11\/6\/19&nbsp;\u2013<\/strong><\/em>&nbsp; Study for the Water Cycle &amp; States of Matter quiz on Friday!<br><strong><em>11\/7\/19&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong>\u2013  Complete your Mackinac Bridge Lab Report packet &amp; study for the Water Cycle &amp; States of Matter quiz tomorrow! <br><strong><em>11\/8\/19&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong>\u2013 Turn in your Mackinac Bridge Lab Report packet before you leave class today &amp; have a great weekend! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>7th Grade ELA<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013<br>This week, we\u2019ll be working on our argumentative &amp; persuasive literature unit. Students will read, write, and evaluate different forms of argumentative and persuasive texts, including non-fiction literature, news articles, informational texts, debates, and transcripts. During this unit, students will also write arguments and counter-arguments that involve citing claims, evidence, and reasoning.\u00a0<strong>Students will also be working on the first Book Project, which is due in class on Thursday, November 7th! Since students have had a month to work on this project, late book projects will not be accepted for credit.<\/strong><br><strong><em>Homework<\/em><\/strong><em>\u00a0\u2013<br><\/em><strong><em>11\/6\/19\u00a0<\/em>\u2013<\/strong>\u00a0Finish your Book Project 1 \u2013 Due tomorrow!
