Students will create, test, and evaluate a structure of their own design as they work through a set of engineering challenges to complete a Bridge Building Project.<br><strong><em>Homework<\/em><\/strong><em>\u00a0\u2013<br><strong>9\/23\/19\u00a0\u2013<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0Complete the bridge building materials assessment<br><strong><em>9\/24\/19\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>\u2013 Work on the bridge building packet &#8211; phase 1. Complete the Design It, Explain It, Materials Used, and Draw It sections.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>7th Grade ELA<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013<br>This week, we\u2019ll continue our narrative lit unit by focusing on the story \u201cRikki Tikki Tavi\u201d by Rudyard Kipling.\u00a0We\u2019ll also spend some time working on the following literary concepts: anthropomorphism, types of conflict, and character motivation.<br><strong><em>Homework<\/em><\/strong><em>\u00a0\u2013<br><strong>9\/23\/19\u00a0\u2013<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0Finish decorating your anthropomorphism notes<br><strong><em>9\/24\/19<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Complete your types of conflict notes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>8th Grade STEM Apps<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013<br>This week, we\u2019ll be continuing our design &amp; modeling unit to hone our mathematical, technical drawing, spatial reasoning, and perspective illustration skills.
