We\u2019ll be exploring how Punnett Squares predict traits and we\u2019ll discuss the differences between dominant and recessive alleles.<br \/>\n<em><strong>Homework<\/strong><\/em><em>\u00a0\u2013<\/em><em><br \/>\n<strong>4\/17\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013Complete the Easter Egg Genetics Lab Report.<br \/>\n<strong>4\/18-4\/19\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013Complete your Science Fair project experiment, photo taking, and data collection.<br \/>\n<\/em><em><strong>Additionally<\/strong> \u2013 Students should be working on their Science Fair project at home \u2013 this includes gathering materials, experimenting, testing out ideas, taking photos &amp; collecting data. All experimentation and data collection should be finished by the end of April, so that students can work on their presentation boards in early May. <strong>The STEM Middle School Science Fair and 8<sup>th<\/sup> Grade Design Fair will take place after school on Monday, May 13<sup>th<\/sup><\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong><strong>STEM Apps \u2013\u00a0<\/strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>This week, the STEM students will\u00a0be working with an educational computer programming website\u00a0(Code.org) to use problem-solving skills to address computer science challenges, explore different types of educational websites, test their computer literacy skills, and study how code is used in digital animation and gaming websites.<br \/>\n<strong>Homework<\/strong><em>\u00a0\u2013<\/em><em><br \/>\n<strong>4\/17\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Explore examples of CS code &amp; game code online.<br \/>\n<strong>4\/18-19\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013Complete your Design Fair project model\/prototype, photo taking, and data collection.<br \/>\n<\/em><em><strong>Additionally<\/strong><\/em><em> \u2013 Students should be working on their STEM Fair\/Design Fair project at home \u2013 this includes gathering materials, experimenting, model\/prototype testing, taking photos &amp; collecting data.
