We\u2019ll be exploring how Punnett Squares predict traits and we\u2019ll discuss the differences between dominant and recessive alleles.<br \/>\n<strong><em>Homework<\/em><\/strong><em>\u00a0\u2013<\/em><em><br \/>\n<strong>4\/10\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Complete the DNA Testing &#8211; Talking to the Text Activity<br \/>\n<\/em><em><strong>4\/11\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Finish the Gregor Mendel Social Media Worksheet<br \/>\n<strong>4\/12\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Work on your Science Fair project at home \u2013 gather materials, conduct your experiment, take photos &amp; collect data. <strong>The Science Fair will take place on Monday, May 13th.<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/em><strong>STEM Apps \u2013\u00a0<\/strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>This week, the STEM students will\u00a0be completing a STEM-related career exploration to investigate future career path options. We will be researching career fields and academic requirements and we\u2019ll be using educational computer presentation software to create a virtual tour of a chosen career field. Students will be presenting their virtual tours in class on Friday, April 12th.<br \/>\n<strong>Homework<\/strong><em>\u00a0\u2013<br \/>\n<\/em><em><strong>4\/10\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Continue working on your STEM Career Virtual Tour Step 5 (Part C). The final draft of your virtual tour presentation (PowerPoint) is due on Friday, April 12th when we present in class. Please upload your work to Google Classroom by class time on Friday (4\/12)!<br \/>\n<\/em><em><strong>4\/11\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Continue working on your STEM Career Virtual Tour Step 5 (Part D). Complete your virtual tour and add any finishing touches. The final draft of your virtual tour presentation (PowerPoint) is due tomorrow &#8211; Friday, April 12th, when we present in class.
