We\u2019ll have a quiz on the human body &amp; body systems on Friday, March 22nd. Students should be reviewing their science glossary terms, class notes, and recent homework assignments to prepare for the quiz.<br \/>\n<strong><em>Homework<\/em><\/strong><em>\u00a0\u2013<\/em><em><br \/>\n<strong>3\/20\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Complete your Human Body Model Project flip labels. The Human Body Model Project is due at the end of class tomorrow (Thursday, March 21st).<br \/>\n<\/em><em><strong>3\/21\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Study for the Human Body Quiz tomorrow (Friday, March 22nd).<br \/>\n<strong>3\/22<\/strong> &#8211; Work on your science fair project, experiment, data, and board materials.<br \/>\n<\/em><em><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/em><strong>STEM Apps \u2013\u00a0<\/strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>This week, the STEM students will\u00a0be working with an educational computer programming website\u00a0 (Code.org) to use problem-solving skills to address computer science challenges, explore different types of educational websites, test their computer literacy skills, and study how information is transmitted between people and electronic devices.<br \/>\n<strong>Homework<\/strong><em>\u00a0\u2013<br \/>\n<\/em><em><strong>3\/20\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Make a list of 5 trustworthy websites that you regularly use<br \/>\n<\/em><em><strong>3\/21\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Update your website&#8217;s CSS properties with new information that you learned today<br \/>\n<strong>3\/22<\/strong> &#8211; Work on your design fair project, prototype, data, and board materials<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>6th Grade Science\u00a0\u2013 This week, we\u2019ll be working on our body systems unit to investigate how cells work together to create organs and more complex body systems, we\u2019ll explore how body systems influence one another, and we\u2019ll learn about how the human body functions.
