No homework.<br \/>\n<strong>2\/14<\/strong> &#8211; No homework &#8211; have a great mid-winter break! \ud83d\ude42<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>7th Grade STEM Apps \u2013<\/strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>This week, the 7th grade students will be putting their 2-D and 3-D modeling skills to the test by working on their Lego Dissection project.\u00a0 Students will gain practice with isometric and multi-view sketching, and they will begin organizing and categorizing data. There will be two graded Engineering Notebook checks this week, on Tuesday, Feb. 12th and Thursday, Feb. 14th. In order to successfully complete Phase 2 of the Lego Dissection Project, students must create isometric and multi-view drawings with correct measurements and dimensions for 8 Lego pieces in their kit.<br \/>\n<strong>Homework<\/strong><em>\u00a0\u2013<br \/>\n<\/em><em><strong>2\/11\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Work on your Lego Dissection Project &#8211; Phase 2 (Sketching) to prep for your notebook check tomorrow (Tues, Feb. 12th).<br \/>\n<strong>2\/12\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013\u00a0Continue to work\u00a0on your Lego Dissection Project &#8211; Phase 2 (Sketching) to prep for your next notebook check on Thursday, Feb. 14th.<br \/>\n<strong>2\/13\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Substitute teacher today &#8211; Make sure to turn in your in-class work before you leave. During this time, students will explore topics, conduct research, and identify a real-world problem that will kick off their own Engineering Design Process. We will be working on an Engineering Design Fair Project Proposal in class all week, this will be due by Thursday, February 14th at the latest.
