This is just a quick update since school will be closed for a snow day on Monday, January 28th. Please take a few moments to review your science glossary terms, class notes, and recent assignments to prepare for a climate change and global warming quiz that we’ll be taking in class on Wednesday, January 30th. If you don’t have your science notes with you at home, check out Google Classroom, I have our science glossary terms and many of our recent assignments posted there, so you can use those materials to review. However, I know that a few of you saved your work on our school desktop computers and you cannot access this work from home. Considering this, I will extend the late submission deadline to Tuesday, January 29th at 2:15pm. All rough drafts must be uploaded to Google Classroom by the end of the school day on Tuesday in order to receive credit for this work.

We will be adding a few pieces to our shipping container project when we meet again this week, to prepare for the final draft deadline, which is set for the end of the school day (2:15pm) on Friday, February 1st. The final draft deadline will not be adjusted if we experience any additional snow days this week, so please prepare accordingly. As you know, SketchUp is a Google-based application, so as long as you save a draft of your work to your Google Drive when we access the desktop computers in class this week, you can make edits or alterations to your work from any electronic device. As a reminder, the final draft of the shipping container project will be graded as a summative project.
Homework –
1/28 – Work on your Shipping Container Challenge – The rough draft late deadline has been extended to Tuesday, January 29th (2:15pm)!
