During this time, students will be learning about concepts such as atmospheric conditions, global warming causes and effects, temperature trends, and the greenhouse effect. Students should also review homework assignments at home to refresh the material that we\u2019ve been covering in class and prepare for the NWEA science test.<br \/>\n<em><strong>Homework<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013<br \/>\n<strong>1\/21\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 No School Today &#8211; MLK Jr. Day!<br \/>\n<\/em><em><strong>1\/22\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 No HW \u2013 NWEA testing this week \u2013 Have a great day!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>STEM Apps \u2013<br \/>\n<\/strong>This week, we\u2019ll be working on a CAD Illustration unit, where students will be challenged to use drafting, architectural, and design skills to transform images from two-dimensional or three-dimensional sketches to Computer-Aided Designs. During this time, students will work on a shipping container challenge using the CAD program SketchUp.
