During this time, students will be learning about concepts such as atmospheric conditions, ocean current trends, weather patterns and storms, and how the sun and Earth can effect weather conditions.<br \/>\n<em><strong>Homework<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013<br \/>\n<strong>11\/26\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Finish your Talking to the Text Marine Layer Activity (the article, rubric, and tips are in Google Classroom).<br \/>\n<strong>11\/27\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Finish your Climate Brochure<br \/>\n<\/em><strong><br \/>\nSTEM Apps \u2013<br \/>\n<\/strong>This week, we\u2019ll be continuing our Modeling &amp; Design unit, where students will be challenged to use drafting, architectural, and design skills to transform images from two-dimensional sketches to three-dimensional models. During this time, students will work on designing, modeling, and constructing their very own cereal brand, which they will sketch, prototype, and build. We&#8217;ll be completing construction of our cereal boxes on Thursday, November 29th so we can &#8220;pitch&#8221; our finished products in class on Friday, November 30th.<br \/>\n<em><strong>Homework<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013<br \/>\n<b>11\/26\u00a0<\/b>\u2013 Bring in a cardboard box or two so we can start building tomorrow!<br \/>\n<strong>11\/27<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Continue to work on your cereal box design and complete your Engineering Logs<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>6th Grade Science\u00a0\u2013 This week, we\u2019ll be working on our Earth, weather, and climate unit.
