We\u2019ll continue to explore the topic of thermal energy in discussions, activities, and experiments over the course of the week, and then move into a short unit focusing on kinetic and potential energy. On Thursday, November 15th, students will take a quiz to assess their knowledge of thermal energy, heat transfer, kinetic energy, and potential energy. In terms of quiz prep, students should be familiar with our science glossary (vocab) terms, class notes, recent assignments and experiments.<br \/>\n<em><strong>Homework<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013<br \/>\n<strong>11\/12\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Study for the types of energy quiz on Thursday! (Review notes, science glossary terms, homework, and experiments).<br \/>\n<\/em><strong><br \/>\nSTEM Apps \u2013<br \/>\n<\/strong>This week, we\u2019ll be continuing our Modeling &amp; Design unit, where students will be challenged to use drafting, architectural, and design skills to transform images from two-dimensional sketches to three-dimensional models.
