Students will work in small groups to create a group PowerPoint presentation that will be delivered in class on Thursday. Additionally, students will need to study their class notes, science glossary terms, the steps of the scientific method, and the steps of the engineering design process to prep for a quiz on Friday. These study materials and resources should be in students&#8217; class notes, but they&#8217;re also available in our Google Classroom for reference.<br \/>\n<em><strong>Homework<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013<br \/>\n<strong>9\/24<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Study notes &amp; glossary terms to prep for the quiz on Friday.<br \/>\n<strong>9\/25<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Study notes &amp; glossary terms to prep for the quiz on Friday.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>STEM Apps \u2013<\/strong><br \/>\nThis week, we\u2019ll be working on Phase 3 &amp; 4 of our Geometrocity Project, where students will take their urban planning designs and 2-D blueprints and transform their work into a 3-Dimensional city.\u00a0Additionally, students will be finishing up the Geo City project, by sharing results and conclusions in the form of a group PowerPoint presentation that will be delivered in class on Friday.<br \/>\n<em><strong>Homework \u2013<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/em><em><strong>9\/24<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Finish the Geometrocity Phase 3 blueprints &amp; city planning reasoning.<br \/>\n<strong>9\/25<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 No official homework today, but students should be on track to finish Phase 4 by the end of the class period tomorrow (9\/26).<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>6th Grade Science\u00a0\u2013 This week, we\u2019ll be finishing up our bridge building project, by sharing our results and conclusions.
