The remainder of the period we finished our discussion on Topic 2 by finding the vertex of parabolas in order to make restrictions on quadratic functions so that their inverses become functions. Students were also introduced to the geometric definition of a parabola and how that relates to real-world uses of parabolic shapes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
