Bellwork gave students practice on PSAT style math questions.<\/p>\n

Hwk #27 is due today.<\/p>\n

Students received the review for the Chapter 6 Test.\u00a0 Date of the test is still to be determined.<\/p>\n

The remainder of the period we finished our discussion on Solving Polynomials.\u00a0 Students were given examples of how to solve a polynomial equation by taking these steps:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. \u00a0Graph to find all EXACT real zeros.<\/li>\n
  2. Use division to turn the original polynomial into a\u00a0polynomial that can be solved, most of the time it\u00a0will become a Quadratic.<\/li>\n
  3. Find the remaining zeros.\u00a0\u00a0If the result of\u00a0division leads to a\u00a0Quadratic then Factoring, Square Roots, Completing the Square, and Quadratic Formula can be used.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Hwk #28 is due on Monday, November 12, 2018<\/p>\n

    Work MUST be shown to receive credit.<\/strong><\/p>\n
