Bellwork reviewed graphing a Sine Function and writing the equation of a Sine Function.<\/p>\n

The remainder of the period we began our discussion on Sec 13-7.\u00a0 Students worked on an exploration\u00a0for Sec 13-7\u00a0to discover what happens to the graph of y=Sinx when you graph:<\/p>\n

  1. \u00a0y=Sinx+k\u00a0 and\u00a0\u00a0y=Sinx-k<\/li>\n
  2. \u00a0y=Sin(x+h)\u00a0 and y=Sin(x-h)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Bellwork gave students practice writing equations of Reciprocal Functions from their graphs and graphing these functions given their equations.<\/p>\n

    The remainder of the period we finished our discussion on Sec 9-2.\u00a0 Students were also given examples of skills that they will be using in Chapter 9.\u00a0 Most of these skills involve operations with fractions.<\/p>\n
