Bellwork reviewed Completing the Square and modeling a real situation with a Quadratic Equation and using this equation to answer a question.<\/p>\n

The remainder of the period we finished our discussion on Sec 5-6, Completing the Square.\u00a0 Students learned how to solve an equation by completing the square and how to turn a Quadratic Function written in Standard Form into Vertex Form by completing the square.<\/p>\n

Bellwork gave students practice solve a system of equations involving Absolute Value and Quadratic Functions.<\/p>\n

The remainder of the period we finished our discussion on Sec 3-2 then began our discussion on Sec 3-3, Systems of Linear Inequalities.\u00a0 We started by finding the solution region to a system of Linear Inequalities by graphing.<\/p>\n

Students were given the Practice to use for Hwk #17.\u00a0 This homework will be due after the Thanksgiving Break.<\/p>\n
