The remainder of the period we focused on the characteristics of Quadratic Equations and their graphs,Parabolas (Sec 5-1).\u00a0 We discussed the relationship between the Vertex and the Line of Symmetry (LOS).<\/p>\n
Students also learned to find the equation of a quadratic given 3 or more points by either writing a system of equations and solving using matrices or by performing a Quadratic Regression.<\/p>\n
