Homework is an important part of the learning process for
\nyour child. It provides needed practice and application skills
\ntaught in the classroom, aids in the development of responsibility
\nand organizational skills, and extends opportunities for
\ncreative and research based activities. The successful completion
\nof homework assignments sometimes may depend on a
\nstudent receiving assistance from a parent. Parents can help
\nin both general and specific ways. Following are some homework

\n1. Provide a place to study that is quiet, well lighted, and has
\nadequate work space.
