{"id":150,"date":"2018-05-22T12:01:52","date_gmt":"2018-05-22T16:01:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/reynolds\/?p=150"},"modified":"2018-05-22T12:01:52","modified_gmt":"2018-05-22T16:01:52","slug":"7th-grade-final-project-due-june-8","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/reynolds\/2018\/05\/22\/7th-grade-final-project-due-june-8\/","title":{"rendered":"7th Grade Final Project: Due June 8"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We will do a rough draft of this final project in our notebooks in class Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>You will need:<a href=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/reynolds\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2606\/2018\/05\/Scan0013.pdf\">Scan0013<\/a><\/p>\n<p>A &#8220;tree map&#8221; drawn on a poster or large paper, that explains the following components of the book<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Exposition (setting, time period, genre)<\/li>\n<li>Characters (main characters and some implicit\/explicit traits)<\/li>\n<li>Plot (rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution)<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Theme and symbolism<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>The thinking map should have 3-5 pictures, and should show neatness and creativity<\/li>\n<li>3 if hend drawn, 5 if cut and pasted<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The rubric is attached and I will make copies of the rough draft is you are absent\/testing on Thursday.
