They love apples, bananas, goldfish, bars, etc\u2014 no juice or cookie please and remember we are peanut free!<\/strong>****<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Reading bag-&nbsp;***<em><strong>45*** TOTAL<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>NEW SIGHT WORDS&nbsp;<\/strong><\/em><strong><em>ARE IN THEIR BAGS\u2014&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong>come, for, are, said, this, one, little, play, me, here, am, do, not, who, with, I, like, the, see, we, go, can, she, a, at, is, was, will, he, has, on, in, and, you, up, look, it, my, to, dog,&nbsp;<strong><em>want, yes,have, no<\/em><\/strong>, and&nbsp;<em><strong>her<\/strong><\/em>. Practice each night to MEMORIZE THESE WORDS!<\/li><li>READING GROUP BAG \u2014 TODAY Everyone got a new book or 2 to read three times each tonight, have someone sign when you\u2019re finished. READ every day and focus on fluency and comprehension.&nbsp;<strong>To move UP reading levels students need to be able to read the words accurately and COMPREHEND (understand what I read).<\/strong>&nbsp;After reading books, please practice using the handout for the \u201cretelling rope\u201d see picture below!!<em>&nbsp;(Don\u2019t forget to ask your child\u2013 what was your favorite part of the story and WHY? or what did this story remind you of?)<\/em>&nbsp;Story Retelling is KEY to comprehension!!! New words are glued in black spelling notebooks for the week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Thursday:<\/strong> Fun\nSentences!<ul><li>Write a\nsentence using one spelling word in each sentence. Make sure to include\nCapitals, spaces and punctuation!<strong><\/strong><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>5. NEW library book were chosen Tuesday!!
