Practice each night to MEMORIZE THESE WORDS!<\/li><li>READING GROUP BAG \u2014 TODAY Everyone got a new book or 2 to read three times each tonight, have someone sign when you\u2019re finished. READ every day and focus on fluency and comprehension.&nbsp;<strong>To move UP reading levels students need to be able to read the words accurately and COMPREHEND (understand what I read).<\/strong>&nbsp;After reading books, please practice using the handout for the \u201cretelling rope\u201d see picture below!!<em>&nbsp;(Don\u2019t forget to ask your child\u2013 what was your favorite part of the story and WHY? or what did this story remind you of?)<\/em>&nbsp;Story Retelling is KEY to comprehension!!! NEW library book were chose Tuesday!!
