  1. Oakman Folder- sign Behavior calendar for FEBRUARY!!! ***<\/strong>\u00a0Please remember to start working on\/thinking about AT HOME POSTER PROJECT AND PRESENTATION \u2014\u00a0Due TOMORROW!!!! (Tuesday, February 11th<\/strong>\u00a0!!! ) Please use poster\/foam board for these so we can display in the hallway! Please practice the presentation part and be as prepared as possible!!! Practice each night to MEMORIZE THESE WORDS!* TEST OVER ALL 40 words will be when we come back from Mid-Winter break!!!*<\/strong><\/li>

READING GROUP BAG \u2014 READ everyday and focus on fluency and comprehension.\u00a0*If your child did not get a new book, focus on RETELLING\u2014 new books will not be given everyday so more focus can be on comprehension.\u00a0<\/em>To move UP reading levels students need to be able to read the words accurately and COMPREHEND (understand what I read).<\/strong>\u00a0After reading books, please practice using the handout for the \u201cretelling rope\u201d see picture below!!\u00a0(Don\u2019t forget to ask your child\u2013 what was your favorite part of the story and WHY? or what did this story remind you of?)<\/em><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
