  1. Oakman Folder- sign Behavior calendar for FEBRUARY!!! ***Great Jon on Spelling Tests!!! NEW words are in notebooks so you can start practicing! Remember BONUS sentence must be perfect to get bonus point— more friends got it today!!! wahooo!!! \ud83d\ude42<\/strong> Please remember to start working on\/thinking about AT HOME POSTER PROJECT AND PRESENTATION \u2014 Due on Tuesday, February 11th<\/strong> !!! Please use poster\/foam board for these so we can display in the hallway! Please do not send in until Tuesday, FEBRUARY 11th <\/strong>so you can practice the presentation part and be as prepared as possible!!! (NEXT TUESDAY!!! note error from last post- opps!) Reading bag- 35 TOTAL<\/em><\/strong> NEW SIGHT WORDS ARE IN THEIR BAGS <\/em>one, little, play, me, here<\/strong>, am, do, not, who, with\u2014 I, like, the, see, we, go, can, she, a, at, is, was, will, he, has, on, in, and, you, up, look, it, my, to, and dog. Practice each night to MEMORIZE THESE WORDS!* Practice spelling the words if your child can read them. Spelling will start next week!! (A letter will be sent home with words on Monday!!!)<\/li>
    2. READING GROUP BAG \u2014 READ everyday and focus on fluency and comprehension. *If your child did not get a new book, focus on RETELLING\u2014 new books will not be given everyday so more focus can be on comprehension. <\/em>To move UP reading levels students need to be able to read the words accurately and COMPREHEND (understand what I read).<\/strong> After reading books, please practice using the handout for the \u201cretelling rope\u201d see picture below!! (Don\u2019t forget to ask your child\u2013 what was your favorite part of the story and WHY? or what did this story remind you of?)<\/em><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      4. Math Homework MODULE 4 Book, Lesson 4 and 5\u2014 homework helper is on page 17 and 19 and homework is on page 17 and 21.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
