TOMORROW IS OUR TEST AND LETTER FORMATION ON THE LINES MUST BE CORRECT!!<\/strong>*** Please send in a class snack for the month\u2013 we now have 22 students (A new student started yesterday! Welcome Zakariya! \ud83d\ude42 Please remember to start working on\/thinking about AT HOME POSTER PROJECT AND PRESENTATION \u2014&nbsp;<strong>Due on&nbsp;Tuesday, February 11th<\/strong>&nbsp;!!! Please use poster\/foam board for these so we can display in the hallway! Please do not send in until Tuesday,&nbsp;<strong>FEBRUARY 11th&nbsp;<\/strong>so you can practice the presentation part and be as prepared as possible!!! Practice each night to MEMORIZE THESE WORDS!* Practice spelling the words if your child can read them. Spelling will start next week!! (A letter will be sent home with words on Monday!!!)<\/li><li>READING GROUP BAG \u2014 READ everyday and focus on fluency and comprehension.&nbsp;<em>*If your child did not get a new book, focus on RETELLING\u2014 new books will not be given everyday so more focus can be on comprehension.&nbsp;<\/em><strong>To move UP reading levels students need to be able to read the words accurately and COMPREHEND (understand what I read).<\/strong>&nbsp;After reading books, please practice using the handout for the \u201cretelling rope\u201d see picture below!!<em>&nbsp;(Don\u2019t forget to ask your child\u2013 what was your favorite part of the story and WHY? or what did this story remind you of?)<\/em><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Please read\/review old poems. No new one this week, just review. A NEW POEM will be added next week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7. NEW LIBRARY BOOKS were chose yesterday.
