  1. Oakman Folder- sign and return behavior calendar for DECEMBER!<\/strong> <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Letter Xx bag!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Today we talked about the letter Xx and its \/x\/ sound, like in x-ray, xylophone, box, fox, taxi etc. Please find 3 items at home have the x sound in the beginning, middle, or end <\/strong>of the word and put them in this bag for your child to share in class tomorrow (Friday, December 13th).  Thank you! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    2. Reading bag- ***25 TOTAL***NEW SIGHT WORD<\/em>S<\/strong> ARE IN THEIR BAGS\u2014 I<\/strong>, like<\/strong>, the, see, we<\/strong>,  go<\/strong>, can, she, a,<\/strong> at<\/strong>, is, was, will<\/strong>, he, has,<\/strong> on<\/strong>, in, and, you,<\/strong>  up, look, it, my, to, <\/strong>and dog.<\/strong> Practice each night to MEMORIZE THESE WORDS!* And work on using them correctly when speaking in COMPLETE SENTENCES for example: He (when talking about a boy) vs. She (when talking about a girl). And \u201con\u201d like the book is \u201con the table.\u201d ***BEGIN WORKING ON SPELLING THESE WORDS AS THESE WILL BE SOME OF OUR FIRST SPELLING WORDS!!!!!!!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    3. READING GROUP BAG \u2014 BOOKS and fill in reading logs each day!!! Read and Re-read for fluency <\/strong>books to be ready to WRITE about our reading\u2013 work on letter sounds!!! (Also can you login code and password to read\/listen to more books on the computer)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Please fill in log each day!!! Please use the pointer finger to put their finger under the first letter of each word as they read. Please read the book at least 3 times and sign the paper inside their bags so I know they did their job! Please send the reading bag back to school each day. ***IF YOU HAVE FLUENCY DOWN, PARENTS PLEASE EXTEND<\/strong> the reading by asking questions such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
