If not, students will get new books next week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Oakman Folder- sign and return behavior calendar for NOVEMBER!<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Reading bag-&nbsp;<strong><em>NEW BOOKS<\/em>&nbsp;AND<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong><em>NEW SIGHT WORD<\/em>S<\/strong>&nbsp;ARE IN THEIR BAGS\u2014&nbsp;<strong>I<\/strong>,<strong>&nbsp;like<\/strong>,<strong>&nbsp;the, see, we<\/strong>, &nbsp;<strong>go<\/strong>,<strong>&nbsp;can, she, a,<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>at<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>is, was,&nbsp;will<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>he, has,<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>on<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>in, and, you,<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>up.<\/strong>&nbsp;Practice each night to MEMORIZE THESE WORDS!* And work on using them correctly when speaking in COMPLETE SENTENCES for example: He (when talking about a boy) vs. She (when talking about a girl). And \u201con\u201d like the book is \u201con the table.\u201d ***NEW, I went \u201cin\u201d the door. The balloon is \u201cup\u201d in the sky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. READING GROUP BAG \u2013\u00a0NEW BOOKS WERE GIVEN TODAY&#8212; please read and fill in reading logs each day!!!  <strong>Read and Re-read for fluency\u00a0<\/strong>books to be ready to WRITE about our reading\u2013 work on letter sounds!!! (Also can you login code and password to read\/listen to more books on the computer)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please fill in log each day!!! Please use the pointer finger to put their finger under the first letter of each word as they read. Please read the book at least 3 times and sign the paper inside their bags so I know they did their job! Please send the reading bag back to school each day. ***IF YOU HAVE FLUENCY DOWN, PARENTS PLEASE&nbsp;<strong>EXTEND<\/strong>&nbsp;the reading by asking questions such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Find the WORD \u201cthe\u201d on this page.<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>What LETTER do you see at the beginning of the WORD?<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>What LETTER do you see at the end of the WORD?<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>After reading, can you RETELL what happened?? What happened in the beginning, middle, and end?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>4.\u00a0<strong>Math Homework-MODULE 2 LESSON <\/strong>2\u00a0Homework page 161\u2013 (helper on page 159).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>***Make sure all 4 things come back to school in backpacks!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reminders from school blog..<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PTA EVENT AT ZAP ZONE from 5pm to 8pm. Plan to meet your friends there and have fun!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next week, scheduled conferences will be on Tuesday and Thursday.
