This week\u2019s spelling words are: come yes no mug rug Plus 2 other words from the \u2013ug family  (such as hug, bug, jug, dug, smug, etc.) **Students will also have 2 *BONUS*&#8211; 1 dictated sentence (write sentence teacher says aloud) and 1 sentence of their own (with a spelling word in it).  *BONUS* will only be given if they have all parts of a sentence from our checklist&#8212; Capital letter at the beginning, written neatly on the lines\u2014sight words spelled correctly, finger spaces between words, AND punctuation at the end of the sentence (. ? !). Thank you for practicing spelling words EACH NIGHT by doing daily assignments (inside cover) in spelling notebooks!  THURSDAY IS PRACTICE SPELLING WORDS IN A SENTENCE to be ready for the *BONUS* POINTS!!!!
