1. Oakman Folder-Sign\u00a0and return behavior calendar for\u00a0March!\u00a0 \u00a0 ***Check out order form for books for MARCH IS READING MONTH! *** MAKE SURE TO FILL IN READING MINUTES ON READING LOG (taped to folder for\u00a0Monday<\/em>-Friday)\u2014 students got some new book in their reading bag today so make sure to read for 20 minutes!!! YOU CAN WIN LOTS OF FUN PRIZES BUT MUST READ 20 MINUTES EVERYDAY!!!!!***I will collect on Monday and give new logs!!!*** Parents and students\u00a0MUST SIGN!<\/h3>\n
2.Reading\/Math Bag-Please take 15 minutes to \u201cread\u201d each night and practice sight words\u2026 NEW books for reading pictures, listening and asking\/answering questions (use bookmark), finding sight words, etc. were given in see through reading bag.\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/header>\n

** All sight words on ring are: I, the, can, see, like, to, look, at, come, and, a, we, go, my, in, is, has, for, are, here, you, dog, up, on, have, said, it, she and new sight words\u00a0get and an new words me and went make 40<\/em>. ***ALL should be memorized for reading and some should be able to spell on own AND begin using to write SENTENCES!! Practice our assessment of all 40 words is Monday, March 11.\u00a0\u00a0sight words list\u00a0<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

***Great job on assessment today, a few students have a note to be re-tested on Friday.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

3.<\/strong>READING GROUP BAG\u2014> read NEW book 3 times remembering to point to each word as you read AND extend to asking questions such as: \u201cFind a sight word on this page. Point to word that starts with the \/s\/ sound. ETC.\u201d\u00a0 Please keep alphabet linking chart and on back NEW consonants\u00a0blends and digraphs\u00a0in their bag\u2013 this is to help with reading and writing during reading groups and can be practiced at home as part of 15 minutes of reading each night!<\/strong><\/p>\n
