{"id":6704,"date":"2019-01-10T14:55:42","date_gmt":"2019-01-10T19:55:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/rawsonm\/?p=6704"},"modified":"2019-01-10T14:55:42","modified_gmt":"2019-01-10T19:55:42","slug":"homework-reminders-1-10-19","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/rawsonm\/2019\/01\/10\/homework-reminders-1-10-19\/","title":{"rendered":"Homework &#038; Reminders 1-10-19"},"content":{"rendered":"<header class=\"entry-header\">\n<h1 class=\"entry-title\"><\/h1>\n<\/header>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Oakman Folder-Sign\u00a0and return behavior calendar for JANUARY!!\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Long O\u00a0<u>WORD\u00a0<\/u>bag!\u00a0 Yesterday\u00a0 we talked about WORDS that have a long o sound like, bone, soap, snow, coat, etc.\u00a0 Please find 3-5 items at home that have the long i sound in the WORD and put them in this bag for your child to share in class tomorrow if they forgot today.\u00a0 Thank you!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reading\/Math Bag-Please take 15 minutes to \u201cread\u201d each night and practice sight words\u2026 New books for reading pictures, listening and asking\/answering questions (use bookmark), finding sight words, etc. were given in see through reading bag.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>** All sight words on ring are: I, the, can, see, like, to, look, at, come, and, a, we, go, my, in, is, has, for, are, here, you, dog, up, on, have, and new sight word SAID\u2013. ***ALL should be memorized for reading and some should be able to spell on own.\u2014\u00a0<em>check folders for how they did on a practice test with their buddy today!!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong>***STUDENTS WILL BE TESTED OVER THEIR SIGHT WORDS on January 25th so keep practicing EACH NIGHT\u2014 spelling tests will begin next month too!\u00a0 STUDENTS WILL ALSO BE TESTED WITH MS. BOST NEXT WEEK!!!<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong>READING GROUP BAG\u2014&gt; read NEW black and white book 3 times remembering to point to each word as you read AND extend to asking questions such as: \u201cFind a sight word on this page. Point to word that starts with the \/s\/ sound. ETC.\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong><em>Sign reading log for new books!\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><strong>Math- Module 3, lesson 7\u2014 homework helper on page 224 and do homework pages 225 AND 226.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Reminders:<\/p>\n<p>Please send in a snack for January.
