Oakman Folder-Sign\u00a0and return behavior calendar for November\u2014 please review the sight word assessment with your child and begin to start “spelling” and writing the words at home.\u00a0 If you child has ALL their sight words, begin putting them together to make simple sentences: “I can see my cat.”<\/h3>\n<\/header>\n

3. READING GROUP BAG\u2014> read NEW black and white book 3 times remembering to point to each word as you read AND extend to asking questions such as: \u201cFind a sight word on this page. Point to word that starts with the \/s\/ sound. ETC.\u201d<\/h3>\n

We have been reading\u00a0Stone Soup<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0.\u00a0 On Tuesday, November 20th<\/sup>\u00a0we are planning a Stone Soup Feast<\/strong>.\u00a0 Our plan is to \u201cmake\u201d Stone Soup in the morning.\u00a0 We will be eating our soup and having a \u201cfeast\u201d at 2:00 if you would like to join.<\/p>\n

Please sign up for items listed below if you are able to bring them in by writing your child\u2019s name next to the item.<\/u><\/p>\n

Please send the listed items to school with your child in the morning (on Tuesday, November 20th<\/sup>) so we can cook them in our crock pot and have the soup ready by 2:00.\u00a0 Parents are invited to join our feast with us on Tuesday at 2:00pm!<\/p>\n
