Dear Oakman Parents,<\/span><\/h2>\n

This letter serves as a reminder to the school \u00a0procedures which are put in place to ensure the safety of all of our students. Please understand that <\/span>keeping your children safe while at school is our top priority when making any decisions.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Morning Procedures<\/b><\/h2>\n
    \n
  • 8:25 am: 1st bell for students to line up<\/span><\/li>\n
  • 8:30 am: 2nd bell all staff expected at line up<\/span><\/li>\n
  • 8:40 am: Classroom instruction begins. Anyone who arrives after this time needs to sign-in the office<\/span><\/li>\n
  • From 8:00-8:25 AM breakfast will be served in the cafeteria. The playground area is not monitored or supervised by any staff member prior to 8:30 AM. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Dismissal Procedures<\/b><\/h2>\n
      \n
    • Teachers will escort students out from doors #3 and #4 at 3:35pm.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Only preschool parents need to come into the building to sign out their students<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Entering the Building<\/span><\/h2>\n
        \n
      • Parents\/ visitors may enter the building via door #1 or door #5, and must check-in the office for any related business \/ personal matter.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Outdoor Lineup and Recess<\/span><\/h2>\n
          \n
        • According to district policy, students will have outdoor line up and recess when the temperature is above 20\u2109 (combination of temperature and windchill). This excludes when there is inclement weather (rain, snow, high winds).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
