{"id":423,"date":"2014-04-17T14:25:23","date_gmt":"2014-04-17T18:25:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/rawsonm\/?p=423"},"modified":"2014-04-17T14:25:23","modified_gmt":"2014-04-17T18:25:23","slug":"homework-reminders-41714","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/rawsonm\/2014\/04\/17\/homework-reminders-41714\/","title":{"rendered":"Homework &#038; Reminders 4\/17\/14"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">Spring Break Homework Packets went home in folders today. \u00a0The most important things the children should do over break is READ, READ, READ!! \u00a0They have plenty of books in their bags that are at their level. \u00a0If you need more over break, visit the library! \u00a0Remember to record reading time on log.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>They should be encouraged to write while they are on break as well. \u00a0They can write about what they read, what they are doing and\/or their families. \u00a0There is a &#8220;Spring Break News&#8221; sheet on the front of their packet to practice &#8220;writing the sounds&#8221; they hear in words.<\/p>\n<p>They should also practice their math activities along with the math homework pages in the packet. \u00a0They may cut out the bunnies to use as counters when do the addition and subtraction problems. \u00a0There are some resources on the Oakman School website under student and parent resources (#2) that has links to some OUTSTANDING websites.<\/p>\n<p>When we get back from break, students will have their Spring Pictures taken on the 30th. \u00a0The form for ordering pictures is coming home today. \u00a0<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">We will also begin end of the year testing so it is very important that they continue to work and pratcie all we have learned over break!!!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>I hope you have a fun and\/or restful Spring Break and look forward to seeing you on the 28th when we return.<\/p>\n<p>Have a nice break!<\/p>\n<p>Michelle Rawson<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Spring Break Homework Packets went home in folders today. \u00a0The most important things the children should do over break is READ, READ, READ!! \u00a0They have plenty of books in their bags that are at their level. \u00a0If you need more over break, visit the library! \u00a0Remember to record reading time on log.
