Folder\u2014 sign behavior calendar\u00a0FOR OCTOBER!\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">&#8220;AND&#8221; Sight Word Paper\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Letter Gg bag!\u00a0 If you did not bring today&#8212; last chance to share is TOMORROW (WEDNESDAY)!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>(Green Letter\u2013Kindergarten Reading at Home Plan)<span style=\"color: #008000;\">****THERE IS A GRAPH TO BE COMPLETED EACH DAY ON THE BACK OF THE LETTER!!!****<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Your child has a Read at Home Plan that will be part of their homework routine each day. Please read\/listen to your child read for\u00a0<b>15 minutes everyday<\/b>. Please use the\u00a0<b>graph on the back of this letter<\/b>\u00a0to help your child color the number of books read each night. There will be a special reward for the child with the most books read at the end of the week. I will check this graph numerous times throughout the week. This is an expectation that will continue throughout the rest of the school year!<\/p>\n<p>2. Reading Bag-Reading bag, work on name puzzle, ABC chart (identifying letters and sounds\u2013try out of order!), each child has\u00a05 NEWbooks to practice \u201creading the pictures\u201d (you can read the words for the to practice listening to reading).\u00a0 \u00a0MANY students also have gotten a black and white paper book from their READING teacher\u2026 practice pointing to each word and READING THE WORDS in this book.\u00a0\u00a0**Please note there is a $6.00\/ book charge for any lost school book\u2014 please be responsible and help take care of our books!!!***\u00a0students have a \u201cplastic\u201d paper with their name on it to practice writing their name\u2026 wipe off with tissue and practice everyday\u2014 on the last line, they NEED to try ALL BY THEMSELVES!\u2013\u00a0practice NEW sight word \u201cand&#8212;-A-N-D&#8212;and!!!\u201d\u00a0 \u00a0USE THE ARM TAP TECHNIQUE!<\/p>\n<p>3. Math Bag- using number chart to practice counting and number recognition, use counting cubes to work on one-to-one with counting.<\/p>\n<p>Reminders:<br \/>\n****Please send in a class snack. (enough for 18 please)*** We are almost out!!!
