  1. Folder\u2014 sign behavior calendar, PAPER- circle the sight word “the” and practice reading simple sentences by pointing at each word as you read. \u00a0Parents first, then child<\/span>.\u2014Letter Tt bag! if you did not bring today.<\/span>Today we talked about the letter Tt and its \/t\/ sound, like in turtle, toys, truck, etc. Please find 3-5 items at home that start with the t sound and put them in this bag for your child to share in class tomorrow (Tuesday, September 26th).\u00a0 Thank you!<\/li>\n
  2. Reading Bag-Reading bag, work on name puzzle, ABC chart (identifying letters and sounds\u2013try out of order!), \u00a0each child has\u00a04 \u00a0 books to practice \u201creading the pictures\u201d \u00a0(you can read the words for the to practice listening to reading) \u00a0students have a \u201cplastic\u201d paper with their name on it to practice writing their name\u2026 wipe off with tissue and practice everyday\u2014 on the last line, they NEED to try ALL BY THEMSELVES! \u00a0NEW!!!! practice tapping new sight word “t-h-e—-the like we did in class). \u00a0NEW CARD on ring in their bag, practice each night!<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. \u00a0Math Bag- using number chart to practice counting and number recognition, use counting cubes to work on one-to-one with counting.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. Field Trip Tomorrow!!!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Dear Parents,<\/p>\n

      Our field trip to the apple orchard is TOMORROW (Wednesday September 27th<\/sup>. We will leave on the bus at around 9:15.<\/p>\n

      Some things to remember:<\/p>\n

      Dress appropriate for the weather and wear comfortable shoes for being outside.<\/p>\n

      We will be leaving school around 9:15.\u00a0 ALL students will need to use the restroom before we get on the bus.\u00a0 If you think your child, may have difficultly on the long bus ride, please send in a change of clothes.<\/p>\n

      \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>ALL students and parents chaperons must pack a lunch and bring a drink.\u00a0 NO GLASS!<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Parents that are driving, we will give you a Google map to the orchard.<\/p>\n

      ***We have plenty of space on the bus but younger siblings CANNOT go on the bus.<\/p>\n
