  2. \u00a0Reading Bag- practice all sight words, new word today, \u201cred\u201d \u00a0read books— we have been practicing the stategy of pointing to the first letter, when you come to a word you don’t know make the sound and look at the picture for a clue….FOR EXAMPLE: \u00a0I see a \u00a0c___? \u00a0look at picture of a cat and figure out the word CAT! \u00a0Today we PRACTICED login into computers using numbers on reading bags to go on websites—\u00a0GO ON MYON to listen to all kinds of books!!! This is a great way to learn vocabulary for NWEA!3.<\/li>\n
  3. Math Bag- we are doing Geometry in math! \u00a0Practice reading your shape books! \u00a0ALSO GO ON MOBY MAX for lots of great math practice!<\/li>\n
  4. SPELLING NOTEBOOK– Tonight’s homework is RAINBOW WORDS— write each letter in a different color. \u00a0 ALSO On the back of the spelling notebook is our NEW Poem Book. \u00a0Read the poem together and sign the back cover and return to school.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Report cards will be sent home tomorrow. \u00a0I apologize that they were not sent today… we were running late from library! \u00a0They will go home tomorrow in an envelope. \u00a0PLEASE keep the report card and NWEA report at home and RETURN THE SIGNED ENVELOPE TO SCHOOL!<\/p>\n

    Thursday:<\/strong> Get your UNI tickets. This month we will raffle Uni the Pink Unicorn. It will run until the end of the Month and we will announce the winner at the assembly on March 1st.<\/p>\n

    Friday :<\/strong> Parent Meeting: \u00a0STRESS MANAGEMENT<\/h2>\n

    Many of you have indicated from the survey we took at the beginning of the year you would like to learn coping skills for stressful times. Join us on Friday at 8:55 am in the cafeteria for a parent meeting. The presentation\u2019s topic will be\u00a0Stress Management \u00a0(How to reduce, prevent and cope with stress.) \u00a0\u00a0<\/u><\/strong>Two gift cards will be raffled at the end.<\/p>\n

    We will also be introducing our Oakman spirit school clothing line. This is NOT uniforms but rather t-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies with the Oakman logo on it.\u00a0 You can have your child\u2019s name put on the clothing too.\u00a0 Order forms will be available.\u00a0 Join us for some great parent time!<\/p>\n
